education and experience
Dr. Magallanes earned her Bachelor of Science in biology at Loyola University Chicago, and earned her Doctor of Optometry between Midwestern University and the Arizona College of Optometry. She interned at Providence VA Medical Center following her graduation from optometry school. She has been practicing optometry for a decade, helping patients reach their full potential through her accurate and advanced care!

Originally from Chicago, she loves traveling, hiking, running, cycling, gardening, attending concerts, and cooking. She lives with her partner and two dogs, and is fluent in Spanish with proficiency in basic Italian.
