Dr. Mariam Siddiqi is a highly skilled optometrist practicing at Big City Optical, serving patients at the Oak Park and Grand locations. With a background in neuroscience and a passion for ocular health, Dr. Siddiqi is dedicated to providing exceptional care while educating her patients on the importance of regular eye exams for both vision and overall health.

Dr. Siddiqi received her bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from the University of Illinois-Chicago, followed by her Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University. During her optometric training, Dr. Siddiqi focused on a variety of specialties, including ocular disease, binocular vision, and specialty contact lenses.
Originally from Chicago, Dr. Siddiqi has returned to her roots to practice optometry and serve her community. She brings her extensive education and experience to every patient interaction, ensuring that patients receive personalized care and attention to their unique needs.

When she’s not caring for patients, she enjoys spending her time reading mystery and thriller novels, working on art projects, and tackling DIY home renovations. Though she doesn’t have any pets, she and her husband care for a beautiful collection of plants that keep their home green and vibrant.
